The long-awaited premiere of the new Tesla Model Y is officially presented to the public at a special exhibition in Los Angeles. Previously known materials about the new electric car did not coincide with the presented reality, the novelty turned out to be raised by Model 3, which added a third row of seats, as well as a 5th door behind. Most of all, the design of the new Tesla is similar in front and behind, but from the side it resembles Model X at all. The designers simply excluded the well-known "falcon wings" by installing the usual swing doors, while all the doors were devoid of frames around the glass. As for the interior of the Tesla Model Y, minimalism is clearly visible here, similar to the 3rd model of an electric car. A feature of the new crossover is a large glass panoramic roof, as well as a 15 ″ touchscreen display of the multimedia system in the center of the console. According to the manufacturer, by folding the second and third row of seats, the volume of the luggage compartment increases to 1840 liters, which is also a lot. From the first moment of the official display of Tesla Model Y, the manufacturer announced the release of 4 different modifications.
