Sooner or later, every car owner is faced with the task of removing this part. As a rule, this is done to repair the wiper, replace the brushes in the brush holder or get the motor working. This procedure is not complicated and allows you to do everything alone in your garage with a minimum and standard set of screwdrivers. We filmed glass cleaners on a VAZ 2110 car.

Step-by-step steps to remove the wiper:

1. The first step is to disconnect the wire with the “-” terminal from the battery.

2. Next, you need to remove the windshield frame trim and lining.

3. Now under the main brake cylinder you need to unscrew the screw that holds the noise-insulating upholstery. 4. Remove the left-hand soundproofing trim.

5. There is a clamp on the expansion tank that holds it - unscrew the clamp and move the tank without disconnecting the hoses from it.

6. Disconnect the wiring assembly from the wiper.

7. Remove the largest center bottom bolt holding the wiper.

8. Now unscrew the left retaining nut.

9. Then the third from the right.

10. Now you can remove the windshield wiper from the studs and remove it by turning it forward 90 degrees.

11. After repair and replacement of necessary parts, install the wiper in the reverse order to removal.
