Cruise control is regulated by buttons on the steering wheel: speed selection is located on the left, and reset and memorization, respectively, on the right. The devices are backlit in white and look pretty nice and easy to read. Finishing materials are generally not expensive, but they look neat. Mirrors are available on two sun visors.

The backrest can be folded in a 60/40 ratio. The seat profile has become more comfortable, but the driver's seat remains the same raised without height adjustment. As for the trunk, its volume has not changed and is 510 liters, and in the hatchback it is 320 liters, with an opening width of 869 mm and a height of 744 mm. The trunk, like the fuel filler flap, is lockable and equipped with a full-size spare wheel.

Engine and control of the new Renault Logan

French engineers began developing K-Type engines with a volume of 1.4 to 1.6 liters in 1995 and are working on them to this day. In order for the modern 2014 Logan to comply with the Euro-5 environmental standard, it was specially reconfigured by engineers, which is why it has decreased by a couple of horsepower, but 10 N • m of thrust has been added. Compared to the old Logan, which had as many as 6 engine configurations, the new model has 4 configurations, the manual transmission has not changed, and there are only two engines left. The unit, which has 8 valves, has 82 hp after derating, and the "older" engine has not changed, the power of which is 102 hp.

The salvation of the situation with the transmission can be an automatic gearbox, which will certainly appear a little later. Driving the sedan is quite simple, the steering wheel rotates about 3 turns all the way and has a clear zero. The effort on the steering wheel increases with increasing speed, but when parking, on the contrary, the effort on the steering wheel decreases, thanks to the adaptive power steering. The braking system includes front non-ventilated discs and rear drum brakes.

But the suspension in Logan is rightfully considered indestructible, thanks to the modernized design with McPherson front struts and a rear semi-independent beam. The problematic anti-roll bar has been successfully improved, which is now equipped with all vehicle configurations, with the exception of Access. Due to the energy intensity of the suspension, it is possible not to slow down on problem areas, which is a huge plus on Russian and Ukrainian roads.
